When I got hit by the dinner lady
When I was in year 6, aged 11, I was sitting in the school hall about to eat my lunch. My friend and I were giggling about something or nothing. It was time to say grace,
I tried to stiffle the spluttering giggles, the dinner lady hit me round the head so hard that my headband flew across the room and landed in someones lunchbox. My Mum 'went down the school'.
"For what we are about to recieve may the lord make us truly grateful"
